Plaza AI Port

Part of Minato-ku’s childcare services, AI-port, in Minami-Aoyama, (near Bell Commons)is an indoor play center for children ages 2 months to 6 years of age, accompanied by parents. Open daily from 10:00am to 4:30pm, AI-port is free of charge for registered members.

Ai has an outdoor play area where there is a playground and even a garden with kiwis and vegetables that the children can water! There is also an indoor playroom that has good quality wooden toys and a ball pit.

AI-port also offers temporary nursery services and emergency daycare for children ages 2 months to 6 years of age. Open from 9am to 9pm daily, rates are ¥800/hour between 9am and 6pm, and ¥1200/hour for early morning and evening hours and holidays. Same day reservations are acceptable.

The annual membership fee is ¥500 for householders who reside or work in Minato City, and ¥1,000 for those who don’t. After you fill in the membership card, write your name, and your child’s name on the little square pieces of paper provided, and put into the name tags (elephant for children and flower for adults). When you leave, pick up your members card, and file your name squares for your next visit.
