November 25th is American Thanksgiving Day.

Thanksgiving, being a family-focused American tradition, is a time people spend with those they love. Many of us in Tokyo however will be spending the holiday away from family and friends due to COVID-19–related travel restrictions.

How you choose to celebrate this year will depend on your family’s comfort levels. Given that many of us are now fully vaccinated, it may be safe to check in on family and friends in Japan and reunite at a dinner table with plates of mashed potatoes, yams, and of course, the staple turkey.

For the culinary challenged who has no time to thaw and roast a big bird, we’ve got you covered! No buying, no basting, no baking required. Just pick up the phone and book a table. Go home grateful you don’t have a sink full of dirty dishes.

Reserve early as these popular eateries book quickly.

Bon appetit, kampai and gobble, gobble.
